First Harvest Chapel began in May of 1997.  The formation of the church was birth out of Bethel Church in Irvine California.  The vision of FHC was to plant biblically healthy individuals to impact our community and to reach the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ which is still the continued vision today.

SENIOR PASTOR - Rick Kim

Pastor Rick spent his earlier years in Korea, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay, before his family moved to New York City. He loves sports and the outdoors.

Rick is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia (M.Div, '92) and was ordained as a minister in 1994. He and his wife Kay have three daughters: Karis, Kristen, and Kayla.

MINISTRY DIRECTOR - Sam Kim

Sam is a gifted musician who has been leading praise and worship for over 17 years and recorded and produced albums. He has served with Del Cordero Missions in Mexico.

He enjoys watching sports especially soccer and spending time with his family at home.  Sam and his wife Helen have one daughter Kyla.

HARVESTKIDS DIRECTOR - Helen Kim

ROOTS DIRECTOR - Lydia Yun 

Lydia loves working with kids of all ages. She enjoys everything about the winter season especially snow and snowboarding. Experiencing new things is something she does not shy away from. She enjoys the company of others and a good laugh.
